While Lake Orion Baptist School strives to provide a well-rounded educational program for students, we understand that today's students must be exposed to demanding and challenging Science and Mathematics classes. That is why we offer students the opportunity to complete two credits of Advanced Mathematics and earn credit in advanced science classes such as Chemistry and Physics.
We assist parents in making disciples
Spiritual. Educational. Social. Physical.
Lake Orion Baptist School believes real disciples for Christ must know and understand God's Word. All students receive instruction in God's Word through Bible classes, memorization of scripture, and weekly chapel messages that challenge students to think God's thoughts and to pursue Him above all other endeavors.
The Fine Arts program at our school strives to instill in children skill in musicianship and performance as well as a love and appreciation for God who is the author of music. Students receive choral instruction, band and orchestra instruction, as well as individual private lessons. Students grow in proficiency and confidence by participation in festivals sponsored by the Michigan Association of Christian Schools and the Michigan School Vocal Music Association.
Lake Orion Baptist School participates in interscholastic sports which offer an excellent avenue for discipleship. Our school sponsors teams in girls' volleyball, basketball and soccer and boys' teams in basketball, soccer, baseball and wrestling. As part of the Wolverine Christian Conference and the Michigan Association of Christian Schools, we compete with sister Christian schools in Metro-Detroit.
